Urwerk UR-103 Phoenix for Only Watch 2011 Charity Auction
Continuing to previews of the one-of-a-kind watches to be auctioned for Only Watch 2011 Charity Auction, today we look at the Urwerk UR-103 Phoenix. The uniquely designed watch comes in a white gold case, hand-decorated by master engraver and artist Jean-Vincent Huguenin.
The rotating satellite complication is the heart and soul of the 103 series of watches. The slanting sides of the hour satellites ensure an unencumbered view of the time without turning the wrist – even while driving – while bold SuperLumiNova provides excellent visibility by both day and night. High-tech grade 2 titanium is used extensively throughout the satellite complication including in the construction of the orbital cross and the Geneva crosses.

Breitling for Bentley GT Racing Ice
At this year’s Baselworld, Breitling is set to introduce a special, all-white version of both the Bentley GT and the Bentley GT Racing Timepieces. These chronographs, already distinguished by their size, which is more compact than the other Breitling for Bentley models making them suited to all wrists, now also offer a distinctive and instantly-identifiable look.
The new Ice version of both the chronographs features an Ice White dial, an exclusive Bentley livery color and a rubber strap in the same shade. The dials, enhanced by rimmed counters, evoke the dashboards of Bentley Grand Tourers. So the bezel is reminiscent of the marque’s control buttons and the caseback bears a medallion with the outline of the famous Bentley Continental GT.
