Porsche Design presents the P’9981 smartphone from BlackBerry in a gold edition strictly limited to just 25 devices worldwide. It is already well-known mobile phone, developed in cooperation with BlackBerry, but this time in a new light. It will be available from June in Porsche Design stores.
The phone has a stainless steel case with a gold-coloured titanium coating. The case is also finished with a 24-carat gold layer. The phone features a keyboard that is perfectly tailored to the case, a crystal-clear touchscreen and a hand-wrapped leather back. The limited edition number is on the camera cover on the backside of the smartphone, and is milled from a solid block of 24-carat gold.
The P’9981 Gold smartphone has an exclusive BlackBerry PIN number, identified by the prefix code “2AA”, so can everybody know that you own a Porsche Design P’9981 BlackBerry. The smartphone boasts 1.2 GHz processor, HD quality videos, 8 GB internal storage and a 16 GB Micro SD card, Liquid GraphicsT technology and high resolution 24-bit graphic display.

An extraordinary 18-carat creation blossomed after 225 hours in the gemsetting workshop of the Manufacture. The timepiece’s dial is hidden beneath a diamond and sapphire bombé pistil. The pistil opens to reveal the time on a diamond and sapphire dial with white gold hands.
