Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase for Customers Who Require Increased Space and Comfort

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase Unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made its first world debut on the Asian continent by revealing the Ghost Extended Wheelbase version at the Shanghai auto show. The latest addition to the Ghost lineup is 6.7 inches, or about 170mm, longer than the standard car, making it the perfect barge for those who want to be driven. The legroom is enhanced with knee-room which more than doubled compared to the standard Ghost. The increased cabin space in the rear passenger compartment and a panoramic sunroof are the highlights of the new setup. Under the hood, Rolls Royce has kept the usual 6.6 liter twin turbo charged V12 engine that delivers a total of 563hp and 575 lbs-ft of torque at just 1,500rpm. The extra dimension hasn’t diminished the rate the Ghost sprints to 60 mph  in less than 5.0 seconds.

Suburban Family’s Old Chinese Vase Fetches $83 Million

Suburban Family's Old Chinese Vase Fetches $83 Million A Chinese vase discovered during a routine clear-out of a bungalow in northwest London has sold at auction for a record £51 million ($83 million), leaving the sellers flabbergasted. A vase that sat, little-noticed, in a modest suburban home has become one of the most expensive Asian artworks ever sold, and underlined the rapid rise of the Chinese art market. It was sold by a woman clearing out her late sister’s house, and had been valued at £1.2 million. But after fierce competition, it was bought Thursday by a Chinese bidder for many times more. Auctioneer Peter Bainbridge, whose £8.6 million premium is included in the sale price, said Friday that the outcome was a fairy tale, really.
