Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase
Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made its first world debut on the Asian continent by revealing the Ghost Extended Wheelbase version at the Shanghai auto show. The latest addition to the Ghost lineup is 6.7 inches, or about 170mm, longer than the standard car, making it the perfect barge for those who want to be driven.
The legroom is enhanced with knee-room which more than doubled compared to the standard Ghost. The increased cabin space in the rear passenger compartment and a panoramic sunroof are the highlights of the new setup. Under the hood, Rolls Royce has kept the usual 6.6 liter twin turbo charged V12 engine that delivers a total of 563hp and 575 lbs-ft of torque at just 1,500rpm. The extra dimension hasn’t diminished the rate the Ghost sprints to 60 mph in less than 5.0 seconds.
