Terra Wind – Coach or Yacht?

At first glance, you might be confused. But when look closer, you’ll notice that Terra Wind is actually a first class motor coach that is as comfortable on the lake as it is on the land. Coined as the world’s first true amphibious coach, the Terra Wind RV has been created by Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International LLC (C.A.M.I.) owners, John and Julie Giljam. The Terra Wind has the ability to travel on highways at speeds of up to 80 mph or may also serve as a yacht; crossing the water at 7 knots. A Caterpillar engine, Allison transmission and Neway front and rear air suspension make the drive smooth and reliable.

This amphibious motorcoach offers state of the art electronics, marble floors, granite countertops and plush leather furnishings as just a few of the options. “The Land. The Lake. and The Luxury are what we are here to give every owner,” say the Giljam’s. “Whether traveling on land or in the water, you can be traveling first class.”
The concept of the vehicle is reported to have stemmed from the company’s line of Hydra-Terra amphibious vessels.

Apart from sightseeing, the Hydra-Terra also has the capacity for search and rescue operations and many of its safety features have been incorporated into the Terra Wind.
For an additional fee, buyers can customize the vehicle to their liking. It is possible to include entertainment systems, in addition to choosing the floor covering, furniture, decorative items and more. Are you interested? The Terra Wind could be yours for a mere $850,000 – $1,2 million.
