Luxury French fashion brand Givenchy has created a lavish new handbag inspired by the fascinating deep-sea diving. The brand’s new “Shark” bag features a faint asymmetrical form with clean and sharp lines. Available in a choice of three sizes, the black leather bag features the oversized flap to add a dash of depth, while its metal clasp displays a shark-tooth like characteristic, indicating a hint of danger. There’s additional shoulder strap, meaning the bag can be worn over the shoulder, tucked under the elbow or carried in the hand.
Set to hit stores this June, the “Shark” will come in an assortment of colors such as nude and black monochrome, brown studded leather and shadowy beige. In addition, there will be a variety of finishes.
It can be nicely paired with other Givenchy’s pieces decorated with a shark motif. This ocean’s most fearsome creature first appeared in the fashion brand’s collection in 2012 for the Spring/Summer designs and has since appeared in everything from boots to jewellery.
