High fashion design collaborations continue to dominate the sneaker landscape with news today from Maison Martin Margiela. The avant-garde Belgian fashion house has announced a limited edition partnership with iconic high street brand, Converse. With a full unveiling date set for September 11 looming, the duo provide a teaser shot of what you can expect.
The painted GAT has been a longtime favorite sneaker from Margiela. For this collaboration, they’ve now taken that treatment and applied it to the Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell, by literally painting the shoe white.
The collaboration will be the MMM’s first since teaming with H&M in 2012 and will surely have the industry holding its breath until the big reveal.
