Matter of prestige or simple nonsense – $400 Martini has debuted at recently opened Dirty Martini, the lounge and small plates restaurant at Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens.
It is made with Stoli Elit vodka and a dash of dry vermouth. It is served in a Swarovski crystal martini glass, along with a 1/10-of-a-carat custom-designed diamond pick made by Provident Jewelry, and that detail actually makes this drink worth $400.
Cleve Mash from Dirty Martini says this martini is the ultimate option for a martini connoisseur. James Bond might disgree, but Dirty Martini has a martini named after James Bond (Finlandia vodka, Bombay gin and Lillet with a lemon twist). Also there you can find specialty martinis such as the Mango Tango, and a sharing-plates menu conceived by acclaimed Chef Roy Villacrusis of Kubo.
