The largest European automaker, Volkswagen, in 2018 marks an unusual jubilee – 45 years of sausage production.
Sausage with VW sign are made in this company since 1973 and by the number of manufactured pieces exceed the number of cars made by this German brand.
In 2017, Volkswagen made and sold 6.8 million popular curry sausages, and the annual production output a couple of years ago was over 7 million pieces.

German auto giant has been producing curry sausages for 4 and half decades. Initially, they were used exclusively for feeding workers at Volkswagen factories, and are now available in stores across the country.
The local Volkswagen car dealers are delighted to give them to customers, and the German manufacturer has a catalog number for them, such as the automotive parts they manufacture – in the catalog of components they are run under the code 199 398 500 A.

Sausages are made mainly from pork, which comes in a factory in Wolfsburg three times a week.
