  1. Having been to the Monaco GP on seven occasions, the best seat is in your home watching it on cable. That said, the Fairmont Hairpin, formerly the Loews Hairpin and prior, the Station Hairpin, is certainly not the best seat in the house.

    The problem with Monaco, being a street circuit, it is difficult to see a large section of any piece of it (this is somewhat mitigated these days by the jumbotrons near some seating sections).

    The top two, imo, are the three sections of “O” which is at La Piscine (the pool) where lay the wicked series of chicanes. Second is anywhere in the Start/Finish straight. The picture in the article is at the end of that straight where the cars bear right at St. Devote and head up the hill towards the Casino. I met someone one yearwho told me his choice is the cheap seats sitting on the ground at Rocher, which overlooks La Condamine and the harbor. With a good pair of binoculars you can see the majority of that half of the circuit.
