Wedenstein Violin Specially for Lindsey Stirling

The prestigious luxury brand Wedenstein finally announced its last project which has been kept as a secret for few months – violin built specially for the exceptional american artist Lindsey Stirling. For this project Austria’s company got together with the classical music experts of “mezzo-forte germany”, which can look back on several decades of building violins.

The result is the 4-stringed violin with a a pure language of shape, combined with attention to the very last detail – so typical for Wedenstein. The minimalist 6-layer carbon fibre corpus got refined with finest gold leaf inlays and a complex nano-sealing. Every add-on part is a handcrafted unique. Even the pins are harmonised perfectly with gold leaf enrichments and equipped with a hidden epicyclic gear. High-tech in a elegant casing.

The self-proclaimed ‘hip-hop violinist’ will play Wedenstein’s “black goddess” at the presentation of her brandnew album for the first time officially.

In just one year, Lindsey Stirling, has gone from a virtually unknown America’s Got Talent contestant to a self made YouTube star, accumulating over 110million views on her dozen original songs. Her song ‘Crystallize’ was the eighth most-viewed video on Youtube last year, racking up an incredible 78 million views and over 3.6 million subscribers. With her first ticketed show just twelve months ago, she’s now selling out dates across Europe, America, Russia and Asia.
