Kentucky Derby appears to hold special place where the wealthy gather. At this year’s festivities in conjunction with Tiffany & Co will be served once again some high dollar drinks. Woodford Reserve, the official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby in the collaboration with Tiffany & Co is presenting the world’s most exclusive and most expensive Mint Julep for $1,000, all in the name of charity.

Buying one Silver Mint Julep Cup also includes some rare chocolate mint grown in San Diego, ice made from rainwater captured on the pristine island of Tasmania bourbon-smoked sugar, and of course some Woodford Reserve super premium bourbon. Each sterling silver cup will be presented in the signature Tiffany & Co. “Blue Box” and will be set in a Woodford Reserve casing made from the same wood as Woodford Reserve barrels are made from.

The supply is limited, and only 103 cups will be sold for $1,000 starting from April 11. This year’s offering includes an ultra limited edition of three Prestige Julep Cups to be auctioned off with a starting price of $2,000 apiece. The authentic Prestige julep cups is done up in 24 karat gold vermeil in a design that featured on a horseracing trophy crafted in 1876.
