Aruna Seth, a Hackbridge-based designer celebrates the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by launching limited edition shoes, designed specially for that occasion. Young designer from Purley, who is favorite among Hollywood stars and British Royalty, is paying a homage to her home country by introducing two new special edtions shoes in the glittering patriotic colours of red, white and blue. It took 10-12 weeks to make them and all the crystals are hand placed by artisans in Northern Italy.
First one is exclusive special edition Union Jack heels, each covered in three thousand crystals and limited to just 10 units. The shoe will cost £3,000 ($4,800) and be displayed in Harrods in time for the celebrations of the Queens Jubilee and Olympics.
The second is striking Royal blue satin pair which wedge heel has a row of red and white Swarovski Elements running down the back and Swarovski Union Jack bow. Price will be around £1,500 ($2,350) and will also be displayed exclusively in Harrods.
Aruna Seth’s pair of heels could be seen on Pippa Middleton’s feet at the reception of the royal wedding day and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been spotted wearing Aruna Seth items.
