Italy’s Olympic Teams will continue to be dressed by Giorgio Armani until 2016. Few days ago, iconic American brand in men’s fashion, Ralph Lauren has revealed its creative patriotic work for its national team.
The Italian Olympic Committee and the Italian fashion house, have signed a new two-year deal, so all the Olympic and Paralympic athletes at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 will wear his EA7 sportswear line. In addition, Armani will outfit the Italian youth teams at the Youth Olympic Games and European Youth Olympic Festivals for the next three years.
Armani says “Italy is built on the country’s passion for sport and sport promotes positive values and brings people together” and adds “I am extremely pleased to renew my collaboration with CONI.”
It was also announced that fashion-forward sports fans can buy their own versions of this athletic attire at the same time they are released to the Olympic team.
