Isola di Mal Ventre, an uninhabited islet in the Mediterranean, which provides a sense of unspoiled paradise on earth, has been listed on sale for € 1,5 million ($2 million). This is one of just few available islands in the Mediterranean Sea, and is located a few kilometers from the northern coast of Sardinia, reports Le Figaro. The island which stretches for two kilometers in length, with 80 acres of flora and fauna is currently owned by an English businessman who had decided to sell it. It also has a flat appearance, with the ‘ altitude maximum of just 18 m above sea level .
On the island there is no facilities for housing, electrical power or drinking water, and the construction of the villa would cost around €10 million ($13,6 million).
The only signs of human remains over the presence of the pillars of the Ancient Rome and a hut.
“This is one of the most unique properties in the Mediterranean, with potential revenue from holiday makers looking for sanctuary or something a little different,” said Alexandra Hayward , spokesperson of the sale, which is advertised on real estate website debutesq.
The nearest port is nine kilometers from the island.
