The all-glass building itself that sits on 5.53 acres on the Atlantic Ocean in the village of Bal Harbour just north of Miami Beach is in the early stages of construction with a projected 2016 completion date. Consultatio’s founder, art collector Eduardo Costantini, hopes the condominium owners never sell Koons’s large, mirror-polished stainless steel sculptures; the penthouse’s owner would have a 1/240th stake.
