Swiss brand Piaget, sought new inspiration for its Mythical Journey collection in the romantic streets of Venice. The Italian city Venice was chosen for its connection to water, and its iconic architectural monuments, such as the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Clock Tower (which was incidentally restored by Piaget in 1997) and the city’s emblematic lion.

Famous St Mark’s Clocktower has inspired these new watches, and their beautiful blue zodiac dial. Altiplano watch in this series utilize fine techniques including feather art, enameling and engraving, in order to achieve a stunning effect. Also, the watch boasts 12 zodiac motifs, among the stars in the sky.

With 40mm case, which is available in versions of 18-carat white and yellow gold, this timepiece has Piaget 830P mechanism, which has a power-reserve of 60 hours. Mythical Journey logo can be seen on the back of the watch, which is made of sapphire crystal. Brown alligator strap with a gold buckle, ideally completes the overall look of the watch.
