“Living in a house that doesn’t reflect who you are is akin to wearing someone else’s clothes”, Christian Dior. Interiors and homewares were always very important to Monsieur Dior, so it was only a matter of time before the luxury brand made its way into homewares. That exactly happened few days ago at the couture label’s new grand four-story flagship store in London.
For the launch, the brand tapped 11 designers to create a range of pieces that includes handblown glass carafes, ceramic plates, decks of Dior-printed playing cards, notebooks, crystal glassware, and hand-embroidered linens.

The designers include India Mahdavi; Lucie de la Falaise and Michaël Cailloux. For each season, there will be a rotating group of artists and designers creating unique pieces under this new in-house label.
Each of the Dior Home pieces were inspired by the founder, from his love of flowers to his signature grey and pastel palette.
The new boutique in London has been designed by celebrated architect Peter Marino, who has designed Dior Rodeo Drive, Dior Soho and Bulgari Rome. It has been modelled on a Parisian “hotel particulier” (a French townhouse), with three VIP salons.
