“La Voiture Noire,” or simply “black car,” is a familiar name – Jean Bugatti produced four masterpieces under that name between 1936 and 1938, one of which is still mysteriously missing today.
The wonderful art deco Type 57 SC Atlantic with composite Electron body could only be joined by rivets because the lightweight alloy was extremely flammable. With Chiron there is no such problem – instead of Electron is there – carbon! And in two versions!

Chiron Noire Élégance
The name says enough – both models have the same 1.103 kW / 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm, but they come in a different package. You will recognize Élégance for its exposed carbon body parts, silver Macaron, black brake pliers and exclusive Caractère wheels. The C-frame is made of polished dark aluminum and many details are finely tinted.
Chiron Noire Sportive
In the Sportive version, the bare carbon is coated with matt black varnish, like all exterior elements and titanium exhaust jews. Wheels, spoilers, interior elements are all in the “Paint it Black” atmosphere. There is more ink in there, but it mostly sticks to the final price tag – it costs €3 million in base form, and unfortunately Bugatti will (officially) only produce 20 pieces of the Noire SE.
