Richard Mille Enchanted With Its New Special Edition Watch
The brilliant Swiss watchmakers from Richard Mille company were very busy trying to amaze the world again with the beautiful, most impressive wonders of top and luxury watchmaking …
The beginning of this year became the owner of one of those days to remember, the day when a gem was discovered to the world that had never been seen before. The new watch of the Swiss brand, called Richard Mille RM 53-02 Tourbillon Sapphire, is part of a very limited line composed of only ten copies.
However, this is not a model that simply brings a new look at the impressive RM-02 line, but can be classified as a real work of art with the world’s first triple-curved spherical mechanism and housing, which in itself posed a challenge to this famous brand.
The rest of the watch was no less demanding to create, because as strange as this may sound to you, its base, case and back were created from a single block of sapphire crystals. Richard Mille’s team spent years researching and experimenting before actually developing the sapphire case, tasked with providing an adequate level of structural durability and comfort during use. This may sound simple to us, but anyone who knows how to work with sapphire knows how much hard work this material requires.
The award-winning Swiss watchmaker is the only one to date to have managed to create such a complex designed sapphire case, and suffice it to say that each sapphire block requires more than a thousand machine hours before an amazing watch can be put on hand.
Additionally, there are highly complex mechanisms and extremely sophisticated skeletonized elements, in charge of detecting the abundance of small miracles to the human eye. The RM 53-02 Tourbillon Sapphire also stands out for its unusual and interesting development in the field of fixed mechanisms, thanks to the braided cables that provide the watch with a superior impact resistance system.
Moreover, Richard Mille’s latest line of watches brings users about seventy working hours of reserve, which means almost three days of counting every second in almost all possible conditions on the planet and in an extraordinary luxurious manner.
