A pair of rival billionaires set a new world record Thursday (July, 22nd)  night at Les Caves du Roy nightclub in St. Tropez with an East vs. West contest to see who could order the most champagne. Zhen Low, the younger brother of the Malaysian tycoon Jho Low, became involved in a competition with Winston Fisher, a New York property developer, to see who could order more £600 ($930) bottles of Cristal for their friends. In the end, Zhen Low turned out to be the winner when he made for a whopping $2.6 million champagne bill.

BrewDog's The End of History - Strongest and Most Expensive Beer in the World

It’s billed as the most shocking, strongest and most expensive beer in the world, and if you want a bottle it’s too late.  Only 12 bottles of The End of History beer were produced by Scotland’s BrewDog brewery and they all found homes within a day of going on the market.

There are several things that make The End of History unique:  first, it has an alcohol content of 55 per cent,  second, it sells from £500 ($770) to £700 ($1,080),  and finally, each bottle is packaged inside a dead animal. The 12 bottles have been made featuring seven dead stoats (a kind of weasel), four squirrels and one rabbit.

Jennifer Aniston launched her first fragrance on Wednesday (July, 21st) with a last-minute switch to her own name. Originally titled ‘Lolavie’, which meant laughing at life, the name of the perfume was abruptly changed to simply ‘Jennifer Aniston’.

The former Friends actress spent months deliberating over the name of her debut scent and finally settled on calling it ‘Lolavie’, but as the launch date approached, marketing bosses realised the name was too similar to a fragrance by fashion designer Marc Jacobs, called ‘Lola’.
