Buy X and get a free Y is probably one of the oldest marketing come-ons in sales. Hawker Beechcraft  is taking the concept to a new level. Days after the announcement of a strategic alliance between luxury jet makers, HBC (Hawker Beechcraft Corporation) and Group Lotus, the combined entity has come out with number of unique initiatives and offers for their customers.

Any Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) customer who buys a Hawker Beech turbine airplane between European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), which runs May 17-19, and June 30, will receive a Lotus sports car. Hawker customers will get a Lotus Evora, while Beechcraft King Air customers will get a Lotus Elise. Shawn Vick, Executive Vice President of HBC, said: This sales promotion gives us the opportunity to create some excitement around our new alliance with Lotus. We look forward to having customers experience the revolutionary craftsmanship through the ownership of both products.

HBC will be accompanying the Lotus Renault GP at a number of F1 Grand Prix events over the coming season, including appearances at races in Turkey, Monaco, Germany and Britain, to showcase its range of aircraft to key growth markets in private aviation. Hawker aircraft will be featured at local airports throughout the race weekends, while prospects and clients will be treated to exclusive events within the Lotus Renault paddock.

Both HBC and Group Lotus have been pioneers in composite designs and both continue to set benchmarks in motoring and aviation industry. Both of them have been leaders in areas like developing and using composite materials that reduces weight and increases strength and designing aerodynamic products for better efficiency. This alliance will help both the companies in sharing the expert knowledge of their respective fields and will give them valuable opportunity of working together on some market leading initiatives.
