All lovers of Chanel’s iconic No. 5 fragrance will be delighted to hear that French brand decided to launch purse-sized flacon of one of the most appreciated fragrances of all time. This new takeaway sized fragrance which fits perfectly into any clutch, handbag or rucksack will be available as of October 16 in boutiques and select retailers. Two scents have been chosen for the new 35 ml bottle that is shaped in the original mythical design of Chanel’s No. 5 fragrance: the No. 5 Eau de Partum and the No. 5 Eau Première.
According to Chanel, the formula used to produce No. 5 has changed little since its creation, except for the necessary exclusion of natural civet and certain nitro-musks.
No. 5 Eau de Parfum opens on notes of May rose and jasmine, associated with Hesperides accords and notes of vanilla. The No. 5 Eau Première combines notes of ylang-ylang from the Comoro Islands with May rose and jasmine, with an added dose of aldehydes, vanilla and musk accords.
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Budchen is the face of the new campaign for Chanel No. 5. The images show Gisele wearing red mini dress while leaning on to a large version of the perfume.
