Aspiral Clock
The Aspiral Clock is a new type of clock developed by two London-based tinkerers, Will Aspinall and Neil Lambeth. The clock consists of spiral system that slowly rotates. A small ball is the indicator of time and as it reaches the center i.e. 12 o’clock, it falls through a hole and pops right back out at the beginning of the outer most ring.
The observer can tell the time by looking at the position of the ball. If it’s at the center point between 2 and 3, for instance, then it’s 2:30. The initial prototype was built out of beer cans and other scrap, and was a far cry from this polished product, which is hand built to order in London.
The Aspiral Clock can be ordered HERE for £350 (about $540) and come in a variety of patterns and colors or you can request a custom design. Definitely a good choice when you’re looking for something different than another boring wall clock.
