The oldest Swiss watch manufacturer Blancpain is proud to unveil its new Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire automatic watch, to be officially presented at Baselworld 2011. Blancpain’s Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire is a company first watch that allows the second time zone to be set in half-hour increments. We are all familiar with the standard 24 time zones that differ by one hour, but many countries, including India, Australia and Canada also use half-hour or “offset” time zones.

The watch is powered by a new 32mm automatic caliber 5254DF movement with 321 parts, 28 jewels, and a 72 hour power reserve. It features a reference time at 12 ‘o’ clock, half time zone in the centre, day/night indication at 9, date at 6 and Date Change of Time Zone indicator at 4.

The Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire watch is crafted in red gold and equipped with transparent sapphire crystal case-back, showcasing the refined movements of the outstanding movement and its guilloche-work oscillating weight.

The watch will be showcased at Basel World 2011 where key brands will present their products from March 24 to 31.
