Madonna’s Beverly Hills Palace on Sale for $18,495 Million

Beverly Hills Palace, built in 1926 and designed by Pickfair architect Wallace Neff can be bought for staggering $18,495 Million. You can say, ok, one more luxury mansion. But, if I tell you that home once belonged to Madonna, you’ll know what I’m talking about. To be more interesting, the same Hollywood mansion also was once owned by Betty Grable and husband/trumpeter Harry James, as well as Diane Keaton, who totally refurbished it.

Madonna’s 6,458 square foot mansion, which in 1999 been featured in “Architectural Digest”, has a total of seven bedrooms in the compound and eight bathrooms with a lavish vaulted ceiling. In addition to the main house, the estate boasts two guest houses. There are various lounge areas, a dining room for al fresco dining, courtyards, and an outdoor fireplace. Of course, nothing without swimming pool and billiards room. Home is surrounded with lush grounds. Other outdoor amenities include formal gardens and a rose garden.

We’ll try to explain you how it actually looks, but images speak louder than words: Luxury dining room opens directly to the kitchen in the Spanish colonial revival spread. Huge master suite is situated above the lush grounds of the back garden and it overlooks the front garden, and it boasts a wooden vaulted ceiling and large lounge area. Huge home office includes arched doorway that leads out the backyard.

According to the public listing, this Wallace Neff home, owned by A-list celebrities, last sold in 2007 for $15.68 million. Now, the price is slightly higher, but this house is still breathtaking and is still a beautiful blend of fine craftsmanship and modern amenities.

The listing also says the property was once owned by Columbia Pictures founder Harry Cohn, but we haven’t been able to find corroborating evidence of that. For me, Madonna as the owner was interesting enough, let alone Diane Keaton and Betty Grable. [RedFin]
