Absolut Vodka has created 4 million bottles, each of them is different from all the rest, as a part of their new line, dubbed Absolut Unique. The bottles will be individually numbered and distributed very soon, in 80 markets including the U.S., U.K., China, France and Germany. Price is expected to be £21.50 ($34.20).
Absolut previously had a custom to make their bottles to look exactly the same, so now they had to completely change production methods, to make sure that every bottle must be unique and different from the rest. The company managed to design a program with algorithms that splashes the bottles with colors that can’t be repeated, combining 38 bright colors and 51 abstract patterns, to create one-of-kind work of art.
Adam Boita, marketing manager at Pernod Ricard UK, said: “Absolut Unique is an exciting project that presents the Absolut bottle in its most vibrant form to date. Consumers will be able find a design that they love, which then becomes a truly personalised gift – or the perfect addition to a party or collection.”
