Located in the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, one of the 26 natural atolls in the Indian Ocean, Amilla is offering you a choice of island homes that hover over crystal clear waters, nestle amongst lush tree tops or hug the shores of pristine white sand. Amilla Fushi has held its soft opening on 21 December 2014, with the official opening on 1 February 2015.

The luxury island offers a collection of appealing accommodations including Ocean House, Lagoon House, Tree House and Beach House. Dining and wining outlets of equally matching class are headed by Luke Mangan, a celebrity chef from Australia. In addition to the limestone-and-timber houses, this resort contains everything a modern castaway might need: outdoor rain showers, a spa with its own tea lounge, an 8,000-bottle wine cellar, and rooms with personal sundecks where you can be mesmerized for hours on end, watching the water ripple in a spectrum of clear glass to deep indigo. There you’ll also find a private beach area and a tennis court. Other facilities offered at the property include a ticket service, a tour desk and luggage storage. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing, diving and snorkelling. The property is a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport, a 15-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll and a 10-minute speedboat ride.
