On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of victory of the GT40 racing model at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Ford’s greatest victory over Ferrari, Superformance and Shelby American have created a special GT40 MK II 50th Anniversary replica. As announced, will be made only 20 copies of these cars, as almost identical GT40 Le Mans race car from in 1966. Also, all 20 copies will have the steering wheel on the right side, manual gearbox, and will be available with several engines. However, Superformance recommended Shelby 427 FE V8 engine.
Ford GT40 MKII 50th Anniversary
It should be noted that GT40 MKII 50th Anniversary is also equipped with Bilstein shock absorbers, H&R springs, adjustable pedals and air condition. The car will be offered in three colors and Anniversary labels, so customers will be able to get a black car with silver racing stripes, blue with white stripes or red with white stripes.
