Last week in Monterey, Koenigsegg has introduced the first Agera RS approved in the US, and will now do the same at the Salon Privé Concours d’Elegance for the European market. However, this is not the “standard” model. Called “Naraya” by its owner (whose identity is unknown), the Agera RS model is designed inside and out of the blue carbon fiber. However, his gold trim is what primarily attracts attention.
Koenigesegg hired Italian tuning enthusiast Etore “Blaster” Calegari, who worked the whole two weeks – or 12 hours a day, six hours a week – application on 18-carat gold leaf to the body of the car manually. The result, as you can see yourself, but here is another “detail”: the plate with model name decorated with 155 diamonds (though not real).
The final product is not only gold and ‘diamonds’: don’t forget that under the hood is V8 twin-turbo engine with 1160 hp.
This vehicle will be presented at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, together with the One: 1 model in blue and the latest Agera R model ever made.
