With its current model Civic, Honda has a chance to make up the missed previous generations. The new Type R is on sale from this week in the US, and literally the first model with chassis number VIN 01 was sold at a charity auction for $200,000. The new owner wants to remain anonymous because this money goes to those who need it and he believes that advertising of this type isn’t needed. Anyway, every honor, and in time, “investment” will come back, as every chassis with the 001 number only gets on the value.
