Louis Moinet and Alexey Leonov have been drawn together by their twin destinies – the dreams of both having led to them making their mark in history.
Made in honor of and in cooperation with Alexey Leonov watch from the House of Louis Moinet. Alexey Leonov was the first person in space to leave his space capsule Soyuz for the first spacewalk. The 3 is surrounded by a window, a thread of the suit that Alexey Leonov wore in 1965 when leaving the space capsule, as well as a tiny metal part of the Soyuz space capsule that brought him into orbit. Allexey Leonov is 84 years old today.
