At its Cruise 2020 show, Louis Vuitton has launched new lineup of handbags featuring 1920 x 1440 resolution flexible AMOLED displays from Royole. LV plans to produce two variations of the so-called Canvas of the Future handbags, one with a single display on each side, and the other with two. Fusing cutting-edge technology with the Maison’s signature savoir-faire, the new canvas displays moving images while taking the form of some of Louis Vuitton’s most iconic bags.

According to Louis Vuitton, the pieces aim to blur the boundaries between your smartphone and bag – a “fusion of savoir-faire and innovation”.
This is not the first Louis Vuitton OLED design – in 2017 it launched the Tambour Horizon, an Android Wear smartwatch that featured a 1.4″ 390×390 round AMOLED . In 2019 the device was updated with a smaller 1.3″ display.
