This initiative, launched last July, signifies a strategic shift in modernizing our production site, seamlessly blending a rich maritime history with cutting-edge innovation.
Milestone Achievements:
A significant milestone in this journey is the successful relocation of hull molds to the new extension of Building 1. Despite the challenges of on-site construction, this accomplishment reaffirms our commitment to preserving our boat manufacturing legacy. Simultaneously, Building 1’s expansion is complemented by ongoing renovation works on the main building’s facade. These enhancements, both aesthetic and functional, aim to elevate the visitor experience and operational efficiency.
Mediterranean Office Relocation:
Down in the enchanting South of France, our Mediterranean office is undergoing its own transformation. The team is set to relocate to a new facility in the nautical area of the Port of Hyères. By the end of January, the AMEL Mediterranean customer service and sales team will be fully operational at 14 Avenue du Dr Robin, 83400 Hyères. This move is poised to enhance our service capabilities for our valued customers.
Strategic Focus and Boat Show Update:
Recognizing the scale of the P.H.A.R.E project, we made a strategic decision months ago to forego participation in this year’s BOOT Düsseldorf. This allows us to concentrate our resources on the modernization efforts and minimize disruptions to our production teams. Nevertheless, sailing enthusiasts can experience our vessels firsthand at La Rochelle and Hyères, where AMEL 50 and 60 demonstration sailboats await. These locations serve as a year-round boat show, offering private tours and trials for most of the year.
