Milan-based design studio Hot Lab takes us behind the scenes of their latest masterpiece – the interior design of the 41.9-meter explorer yacht, Kaşif, crafted in collaboration with Bilgin Yachts.

Hot Lab faced the challenge of working with owners who had clear ideas. The result is a modern, contemporary interior with pastel-colored cabins, a burgundy-themed main saloon, and a more masculine upper deck saloon and owner’s office.
Deck Division:
Kaşif’s layout, developed by Unique Yacht Design, divides interior guest areas across three decks. The lower deck houses spacious VIP and twin cabins, the main saloon and dining area grace the deck above, and the upper deck features a second saloon and the owners’ office.
Unique Design Elements:
Hot Lab introduces bespoke furniture and signature features, like a circular lighting feature representing a school of fish and a wave-inspired art piece in the beach club. The design reflects a deep connection to the sea, creating a unique and immersive experience for the owners and guests.
Custom Furniture:
Every piece of furniture on board Kaşif is meticulously designed by Hot Lab, tailored to fit the owners’ requests and the overarching design theme. The office desk and library in the upper saloon stand out as a blend of masculinity and elegance.
