Fendi The Armchair of a Thousand Eyes

Fendi collaborated with renowned Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana for a spectacular chair titled “The armchair of thousand eyes”. This one of a kind chair is entirely handmade by Fernando and Umberto Campana using more than 100 of the iconic Fendi Bag Bugs – a series of playful, monster-inspired charms made of leather, mink and fox fur – stitching them together in the most imaginative way. “The armchair of thousand eyes” is a new interpretation of their limited edition Banquete chairs, made of sewn together stuffed animals, proving that the talented designers are capable of constantly reinventing themselves.

“When I saw the bag bugs, these Fendi little monster charms, for the very first time, I thought that they would be perfect for creating a striking chair,” Humberto Campana explained. “One year later it is exactly what has happened, thanks to Silvia Venturini Fendi who involved me in this project.”
