The X1 coffee machine was designed by Francesco Illy 20 years ago by designer Luca Trazzi. In the organic line-up, the tasteful stellar dreams make true: “an espresso machine that brings a smile to the face”. Now, famous X1 celebrates its anniversary with a special edition. For the new design was also in charge Luca Trazzi who complemented it by exciting new details. The grill now has an adjustable shelf, so that cups of different sizes can be used.

The profile of the machine is determined by gently curved lines, while the display is reminiscent of the pressure display of the classic illetta from the year 1935. In addition, there is a wide color palette, which makes each individual machine a highly individual furnishing item.
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the machine can now produce both espresso and filter coffee. The steam nozzle also makes the perfect preparation of cappuccino, teas and other infused drinks. Discover the range of Iperespresso coffee cups. The cup only fits into the filter carrier in one way. Then one pressure on the coffee machine’s vintage rocker switch is enough to make a fantastic illy espresso, lungo or even filter coffee.

Thanks to the steam pipe you make a delicious cappuccino or latte macchiato. A handy innovation, unlike other espresso machines, is that this machine has a quick cooling function. For example, after foaming, you can quickly cook with espresso and lungo again. The machine is equipped with an automatic descaling program.
Priced at € 499, the X1 Anniversary is an example of the great passion with which illy has always united aesthetics and innovation.
