Montegrappa, Italy’s most respected manufacturer of fine writing instruments, has unveiled the Privilege Gioiello luxury pen collection in March this year at Baselworld. The original form of this collection was inspired by a model from the 1930’s that was part of Montegrappa’s museum collection. The recreated version of Privilege Gioiello provides new methods of engraving; is enhanced by silver and embellished with new solid reasons the result of special procedures of handmade decorations.
Montegrappa is proud to be among the few manufacturers of pens to use this technique on silver and solid 18k gold. Four models were offered: Arctic, with its reflections of ice cold, Bark, bark with a rough surface effect, Peacock, representing spirals that may decorate the majestic peacock feathers and Wave, which suggests the flow of water.
This collection is made of each model 500 units and 50 units in solid gold. Montegrappa Privilege Gioiello will be available as fountain pen and roller ball only. It will be available from June. [Montegrappa]
