An official Champions League ball, signed by Barcelona FC Manager Josep Pep Guardiola, is up for auction organized by the Israel Diamond Exchange. The proceeds from the auction will go to Ezra Lemarpeh (Helping to Cure), an organization founded in 1979 by Rabbi Firer, with the goal of alleviating the suffering of the sick and their families.
Guardiola signed the ball during a recent visit to Israel, on it Good luck, Good health. Guardiola’s ball is being auctioned on the Israel Diamond Exchange website and will also be available for sale at an event to take place at Hanger 11 on June 28. The highest bidder will take home the prize, and all the money will be donated to Ezra Lemarpeh.
The starting price for the ball is arround $2,900. Bids can be submitted online at Israel Diamond Exchange’s website.
