This stunning watch features 12 solid gold engraved figurines of Arthurian knights with their swords to represent the hours like they were escorting the watch hands. The characters are in 18k pink gold and each is slightly different. In illegible “olde” English are written names of the knights on the periphery of the table. The figurines are placed around the dial that depicts the round table of King Arthur. The “table” is a hand-painted enamel reproduction of an actual table that hangs in Winchester, England. The design displayed on the Winchester Round Table dates from 1552 and was made to impress the visiting Emperor Charles V.

The case measures 45 mm in diameter, is manufactured from rose gold and houses an automatic mechanical RD822 movement. Limited to only 88 pieces, Roger Dubuis Excalibur Table Ronde Watch will be presented in the upcoming annual Salon of Haute Horlogerie SIHH 2013.

In 2013 Roger Dubuis will present the Excalibur Table Ronde, a limited series of 88 watches featuring 12 knights and their swords carved in gold and forming the hour markers around the enamelled dial.
