Vienna Has Cafe At The Central Cemetery

Central cemetery in Vienna “Zentralfriedhof” is the second largest cemetery in Europe with its 330,000 graves, and it is visited by hundreds of thousands of people a year.
Among them there is a large number of tourists visiting the Central Cemetery for its sights, cultural assets and impressive nature.
Since this month, there is a café – pastry shop Oberlaa, which is located in a protected building at Gate number two and info counter.

Café has a separate room for guests who are here want to gather after the funeral.
After the initial criticism, the owners were skeptical, but in cooperation with the funeral company and the City of Vienna, they created a decent atmosphere and received praise.
