To celebrate Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, one of the Britain’s oldest and most traditional Perfume Houses, Floris has recreated a fragrance called Royal Arms, first made in 1926 to celebrate her birth. Actually, there are two version of the Floris Royal Arms Diamond Edition: one most luxury and expensive – the Perfume, and more affordable version – the Eau de Parfum which is part of the Private Collection.
The first one, adaptation of this special perfume has been hand poured into just six antique crystal bottles of 60 ml. One of the Perfume will go to her Majesty, while the other five are exclusively available from 89 Jermyn Street shop at a price of £15,000 ($23,500). Dating back to 1990s, the crystal bottle is a rare and classic dressing table piece, and is dressed simply with a 50 point Fairtrade white diamond, which is hand-set by a jeweler in London. Also, the 18 carat solid gold decoration suspended on a delicate chain is finished with a hallmark charm engraved Royal Arms.
This vintage recipe from the 1926 is centered around roses whose pure essence mingled with jasmine, iris, ylang ylang and sweet violet gives unique smell. Bergamot and lemon help to keep it light, while amber, musk, patchouli and vanilla give it a depth and warmth that will entice you – and others – all day long.
The second one, 100 ml of Eau de Parfume, which is part of the Private Collection, priced at £99 ($155) is more affordable version. [Floris]
