Newlyweds Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have reportedly splashed out $4,99 million on a Malibu compound. Property records show that the home was listed for $5.29 million in February this year, and was sold by eight-time Emmy winning composer David Kurtz. The residence went under contract in July – the same month Hines sold her Bel Air house for $2.99 million. The tree-ringed and mostly landscaped property spans 0.86 acres with a single-story home which resembles a Connecticut barn with rustic beams and wooden floors.
The 2,959-square-foot house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It features a living room, a great room, a dining space, a modern kitchen and a media room. There’s also a guest house, a tree house, pool with a Jacuzzi, outdoor fire pit and even its own recording studio.
The listing described the place as a “totally private, fenced property with mature fruit trees on a flat acre.”
