LG’s latest smartwatch – the LG Watch Urbane has landed in the Google Store. It is pretty much the same device as the LG G Watch R, but with a new high end styling. Its main body has the same basic shape, including fully round 1.3-inch display. But, even it resemble to the G Watch R, this new LTE version is larger and runs its own separate operating system plus phone and wallet functions. Also, the black stainless steel finish with diving watch-inspired dial seen on the G Watch R version is now replaced with the Urbane’s stainless steel with a gold or silver finish for a cleaner metallic look.
The LG Urbane Watch is packed with technology like Android Wear, which lets you send texts, check scores, or get turn-by-turn navigation with a simple “OK Google”, plus you can get alerts at a glance, track and record your heart rate and steps, and even sync your favorite tracks. All you need is Bluetooth-ready headphones, and you’re working out phone-free.
The 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9mm watch comes with a higher quality leather strap, with stitching, which can be changed out for something more personal. LG Watch Urbane is IP67 dust and water resistant (up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes).
