At the Maison et Objet trade fair in Pairs, Missoni Home launched the new collection of fabrics for 2016 which encompasses cushions and throws to poufs and rugs in several themes. Rosita Missoni describes her creative choices and how her Home collection moods take shape; “Inspirations come as they wish… sometimes you’re looking for them, sometimes they happen unexpectedly.” A flagship line this season for Missoni is Anemones Dream. This selection of designs takes its mood from the enchanting anemones to the delicate and evanescent tones of the undergrowth. Playing on the romantic atmosphere between dream and fairy-tale, recalling the legend of Anemone, nymph to the court of Chloris, goddess of flowers, the designs bring a sense of the fantastic to everyday living. Floral decorations combine with flame stripes, in black & white but also in white and coral or white and teal alongside countless precious woven geometrics. Othere themes in the collection include Oriental Garden, Fireworks, Tropical Fish, and Floral Galaxy.
