To celebrate an incredible milestone, Bacardi – owned brand, Patrón released its oldest tequila to date – Extra Anejo 10 Anos Tequila.
The oldest tequila made at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico is made of the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave which is harvested, baked, distilled and then aged for an impressive 10 years in American oak barrels and hybrid American/French Limousin oak barrels.
Patron Extra Anejo 10 Anos is bottled in a replica of the first Patron bottle and features a stopper made of hand-blown glass.
The end result is tequila with a balance between agave notes and unique flavor characteristics, with a palette that is both smooth and sweet, featuring refreshing aromas of “intense vanilla, dry fruits, and citrus”. It is perfect neat, on the rocks, or in a premium cocktail.
Priced at $349 for a 750-milliliter bottle, Patrón Extra Añejo 10 Años is available in the United States exclusively at select retailers this month.
