Vin bought the 2.7-acre property in the summer of 2015, at a price of $48 million…
And the dust has yet to settle from Bezos’ acquisition of David Gefen’s $165 million estate, former casino mogul Steve Vin has decided that now is the right time to rebuild his real estate portfolio. Its freshly redesigned mega villa in Beverly Hills can now be purchased for $135 million.
Vin bought the property about five years ago, paying $48 million back then. For the past several years, this lavish property has undergone a renovation process that has included landscape architecture and interior refreshments.
Located in the premium part of Benedict Canyon, the main villa of this property cannot be seen from the street level, as it is located in a private area, with only three other private homes. The property also has its own private, enclosed driveway that wraps around the lawn to eventually develop into a huge parking lot.
The main contains about 2,700 square feet of space and was built by Guess co-founder Morris Marsiano in the early 1990s, with architecture signed by William Hablinski. The villa offers ten bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms and an elevator to facilitate movement.
Professional private cinema, a gym, wine room, four apartments for family or guests, huge dressing rooms and a private office are just one part of its offer.
Having these dimensions requires staff who are constantly present, which is why the main villa also has a separate wing designed for them, with a private kitchen, bathroom and other amenities.
The decadent living room, overlooking the city, with a nearby formal dining room with fireplace, will delight you and leave you speechless. The guest room, with its crimson red walls and bar, will make an incredible impression on all your visitors. In the exterior, there are formal gardens, fantastically landscaped hedgerows, as well as a carefully selected range of trees.
There is also an illuminated tennis court, with an air-conditioned loggia offering seating and a kitchen. The rectangular pool is tucked into the private Corner of the property, right next to the pool house, which offers a changing area and a summer kitchen.
Whether or not this property will be sold depends, of course, on the price it brings with it, and to some extent justifies it…
