Shaker dates from 1938 and has the removable cap embossed DAVIDE CAMPARI MILANO, the base stamped R. Miracoli & F and 800 (Romeo Miracoli & Sons, Milan). The back of the shaker is engraved: I.B.A. International Cocktail Competition ST. VINCENT 12-15 NOV. 1963.

The International Bartenders Association’s 1963 International Cocktail Competition was held on Wednesday, November 12th, at the Grand Hotel Billia in the picturesque town of St. Vincent in the Aosta valley in the Italian Alps, where, that same year, the Grolle d’Oro, one of the oldest awards for Italian cinema, was awarded to Frederico Fellini for his classic film 8½, staring Marcello Mastroianni.
