For the second time, world’s most international brewer, Heineken teamed up with fashion designer Mark McNairy for the #Heineken100 program, an exclusive seeding program that celebrates company’s “Man of the World.” Each of two collaborative shoes of Saddle Boots for 2013 boasts the signature Heineken green eva sole, white laces, black welt and white eyelets, while one takes on a black pebbled leather upper and the other boasts a white suede upper. Creative Director for the 2013 #Heineken100 program, Chris Gibbs lead the charge for the design of each shoe.
“When developing this year’s program, I decided to bring Mark McNairy back as a partner to create an updated version of last year’s shoe,” he said. “But in true McNairy fashion, Mark took it one step further and created two pieces for this year’s ‘#Heineken100‘ program.”
Designing for “The Man of the World,” the exclusive shoes comes packed in a clear acrylic lid box with customized sizing label and are only available for the 100 individuals on the #Heineken100 list.
