Karl Lagerfeld’s First-Ever Fragrances For Both Sexes

It was only a matter of time when Karl Lagerfeld will launch his fragrance. There is a lot of items under his own name…clothes, Coca-Cola bottles, the Volkswagen Golf, Hôtel de Crillon suites and now. And finally his first-ever fragrance, actually two – for both sexes. Slated to launch this spring in partnership with InterParfums, Lagerfeld’s His and Hers fragrance duo will likely be represented by Lagerfeld’s protege, Baptiste Giabiconi.

Karl Lagerfeld’s earliest fragrance edition was created in 1978. But, back in October 2012 he was cutting ties with Coty and embarking on a new fragrance venture with InterParfums SA.

Karl Lagerfeld for Her is a fresh citrus, fruit and flowers on a woody-musky base. It opens with accords of lemon and peach, with a floral heart of magnolia, rose and frangipani. All of this is soothed by the base of amber wood and musk.

Karl Lagerfeld for Him is an aromatic-fougere fragrance that begins with fresh mandarin and lavender oil. Its heart of green apple and violet is laid on the base of amber and sandalwood.

The women’s fragrance is available as 30, 45 and 85 ml Eau de Parfum, while the male one comes as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. Go check out the new scents from 24th March (or at Harrods from the 9th of that month).
